What is a European handicap?

European handicap usually has three outcomes after adjusting the score. With Uruguay -1: a 2–0 result becomes 1–0 (home win); 1–0 becomes 0–0 (draw); 0–0 becomes 0–1 (away win). Unlike Asian -1.0, the adjusted draw is a separate selection.
